Bad Call

Here is another one for the books

"Hello, ma'am, may I help you?"

"The program won't back up to my diskette."

"It's gives you an error message?"

"Yeah. It says it's full."

(pause)

"Well, normally, ma'am, when it says it's full, it usually is."

"I want it to back up to this CD! Why can't the program do that?"

"Let's try backing up to a new cd, shall we?"

(walk her through the steps to back up to another cd and it works just fine.)

"Okay, now why won't it back up to this one?"

"Because it's full, ma'am. The other cd was not full, that is why the backup worked."

"I WANT YOUR (BEEP)ING PROGRAM TO BACKUP TO THIS CD!!!!"

"Ma'am, it can't . . .BECAUSE it's FULL."

"Oh, the hell with this!"

(customer hangs up the phone. Tech Suport gives a deep sigh)

"Thanks for calling, ma'am."

Boy Commando Part 1

This marks the begining of the story of Tyler, the Boy Commando. My friend Kimber's son Tyler, when he was a child crawled on his arms like a soldier. I was inspired to write this series. This is part one of the drama; The Prisoner Exchange. Posted by Picasa
