Fall Back

Daylight Savings Time has hit and we have fallen back one hour. Where it is now 5 in the morning, it would have been 6 yesterday. Which means the sun rises in one hour, at 6 in the morning??? Holy Shit, I hadn't thought of that!

But no matter. I am up like I always am. I am a morning person I guess. I love being up this early, you know? It's quiet. Most everybody is still asleep and the psychic energy is out of here. The roaring in my ears has gone away. I get up this early cause it's usually the only peace I have.

I was surfing through other blogs and the bad news was, the majority of them were boring. So, anybody that passes by here, please drop off a blog for me to check out. I need something to surf to in the morning.

Tomorrow is Halloween. Hoo rah.

My Trip to Gettysburg

While I was helping to escort my father and my mother to Maryland to visit family, I decided to use the week as a vacation. I really needed it. So me and My brother took a trip to Gettysburg, Pa, which isn't that far from where we were.

The whole scenery was amazing. You could almost feel the resonance emitting from the ground of what happened there. All the museums and other tours were fascinating as well.

One of the strangest things that Gettysburg has is that people still LIVE there! How crazy is that? Me and my brother are touring the battlefield and we come across a barn that has a satelite dish on it! Even the tour said, observe from the room so you don't disturb the inhabitants. How insane. Why hasn't the state of PA bought them out?

Below are some of the photos I took with my digital camera.

Satue of Abe Lincoln

Horror Story of Gettysburg

This is the Wheatfield.

According to the tour this is where a bloody massacre occured. It was such a horrific fight, they said that when you stepped onto the Wheatfield, you could no longer step on wheat. Just bodies covered the whole area.

The tour also spoke of a lone soldier who survived the assault. He was forced to lay among his dead fellow soldiers, while help came but they were too busy fighting elsewhere. The horror came when it turned out some farmer's hog pen has broken down and the hogs were loose, feasting on the corpses. The soldier grabbed the cavalary sword of a fallen officer near him and used it to fend off the hogs, till he could be rescued.

Spooky that such a thing REALLY happened. Posted by Picasa

Beautiful ground. I can understand why they fought here. It would be the perfect type for a battle field. Posted by Picasa
