The flow never stops

I work my butt of to clear the queue. We're down to 12 calls holding. Then 10. Then 7. Then 6. Down to five now. Four. Three. Two.

Back up to three. Then four. Back up to seven. It jumps to thirteen and all hope of getting a breather leaves me like a disgusted pet.

Papa Shango eyeballs me and it spooks the hell out me. The Voodoo Priest shakes around some of his charms and a snake of some king. He is pointing to the phone. "There's no stopping what can't be stopped," he groans," No helping what can't be helped."

"I don't think you are the expert on customer relations, Papa." I tell him.

"You got it wrong, babylon. Aye believe I am de only one who understands."

"Then what is the trick?" I say, sipping my water, " How can we understand the customer?"

"You can understand the ways of the demon, " he laughs, "Until him come calling."

That guy spooks the hell outta me. I once asked Sandy T-Bird why they would hire a voodoo priest. She said the answer was simple.
