Lasso

This man was once a reporter, who's speciality was exposing hate mongers. One unforunate day, one group found him and brought him outside his house to be hanged. As they strung him up, he began to joke but then the limp that held his robe was struck by lighting. The power pulsated though him and within seconds, the robe came undone. After he woke up, he felt a robe in his hand and all the hate mongers were dead before him. He held the robe in his hand watching it move like a snake. When he let it go, it didn't move at all. He realized he had the ability to control robe with his mind.
