The 9th day of Peak Season . . .or is it still the 8th?

The days are rolling together. I have to check my watch to constantly remind me what day it is.

This morning I was treated to probably the funniest thing I've seen all Peak Season. My co-worker BigJay was talking to a woman from Puerto Rico. She called in and immediately said, "Please talk no, I speak very little Spanish."

"You mean English?" Big Jay responded.

"Yes, that too." she said.

"Oh, god." Jay moaned.

He did his best to help her with the call. I was laughing so hard I was in tears. Here is this poor guy having a language barrier problem. He kept saying SI the whole call. Then apparently the woman was running out of minutes. "Would you like to buy a support plan?"

Pause.

"Help?" Big Jay responded, trying to find the right word that she would understand.

"Purchase?" He responded again.

I began to laugh and cry even harder.

"No, when you upgrade you get one free call." He said, "ONe? One? UNO? Uno call. You get Uno call."

Oh, my god. That was hilarious. My hats off to Big Jay. He stuck with her the whole time and assisted her despite the language barrier.
