Peak Season Day 4 is over
The bombardment continues but I am allowed to leave my post.
It's been a crueling day. Only managed to do 39 calls again.
I am on my way to a fall out shelter runned by two refugees called Max and Erma. They serve very nice home cooking and I could stand to use a decent meal.
A few of my fellow soldiers will be there. Luckily I don't have the early shift anymore. I will enjoy the sleep.
I walk silently through the battle field to my car with my rifle drapping a white flag. I hope no snipers are out tonight.
